The dual‑shaft shredder is an environmentally friendly waste‑recycling and material‑reclamation shredding machine independently developed, designed, and manufactured by our company’s engineers, drawing on years of accumulated manufacturing expertise. It boasts uniform discharge, high shredding efficiency, large throughput, and reliable performance, making it widely applicable in the waste‑recycling and material‑reclamation industries.
The blades of the twin‑shaft shredder are crafted from special alloy steels—high‑speed steel or tool steel—through a proprietary manufacturing process, offering excellent wear resistance, high strength, and easy repairability. The cutting teeth feature a unique design in terms of thickness, tooth profile, and arrangement, delivering powerful shearing performance and enhancing shredding efficiency. The drive system employs heavy‑duty gear reducers, characterized by low rotational speed, high torque, and reduced noise. A robust hexagonal‑shank rotating shaft with a large tilt angle ensures reliable processing of bulky materials.

Working principle of a dual-shaft shredder
A twin‑shaft shredder employs two wear‑resistant shredding toothed rollers that rotate in opposite directions during operation, creating a V‑shaped crushing chamber. The resulting shear force breaks down the material. Once the material enters the gap between the two rollers—the V‑shaped crushing cavity—it is subjected to the shearing action of their counter‑rotating motion, tearing and shearing it into the desired particle size before being discharged through the discharge outlet.
